Get your kids on the water this summer in one of our many program offerings. Camps available for ages 5-18, all summer long.

Bringing you the joy of boating.

At Anacortes Community Boating, you can enjoy getting out on the water and being part of a community that shares your love of boating. Feel the breeze on your face while sailing. Hear the gulls calling as your paddleboard slips through the water. See an otter frolicking as you kayak along Fidalgo Bay. Hear the lapping waves on the hull as you row a shell. Join a youth sailing team and experience the thrill of competition.

Anacortes Community Boating is a non-profit organization that brings the joy small boating to Anacortes and surrounding communities. The organization was formerly called the Anacortes Waterfront Alliance.

Anacortes Community Boating offers programs including youth and adult sailing classes, rowing classes, rentals of small sailboats, paddleboards and kayaks, boat storage options, and the Anacortes Seahawks Sailing Team.

  • Anacortes Community Boating manages the Anacortes High School and Middle racing teams, providing an opportunity for young sailors to experience the thrill of competition. Sailing or racing experience is not required to join. Anacortes Community Boating hosts youth regattas which bring more than 200 sailors and families to Fidalgo Bay.

  • Anacortes Community Boating offers affordable storage and access to the water for more than 40 small boats.  Anacortes Community Boating manages 2 dinghy docks also with discounts for members.

  • Anacortes Community Boating offers small sailboat, kayak and paddle board rentals on an hourly basis from Seafarers Memorial Park in Anacortes. Our small sailboat fleet includes  Lidos, Teras, Zests, and FJ sail boats.

  • Anacortes Community Boating has a junior rowing team who experience the thrill of racing in rowing shells. Adults can also enjoy rowing racing shells loaned by the Pocock Rowing Foundation.

  • ACB partners with the Anacortes Parks & Recreation Department to offer youth and adult sailing classes. Our instructional staff are all US Sailing Certified.
